We are now providing End Point Assessor courses and qualifications in partnership with a reputable national training provider. If you would like to learn more about working as an End-Point Assessor, and the qualifications that are required to become an End-Point Assessor please see below for details.

What is End Point Assessment?

End-point assessment (EPA) is one of the biggest changes in the new apprenticeship reforms.

Replacing the old method of being continually assessed throughout a course, apprentices now have to complete an end-point assessment to achieve their qualification. The EPA is designed to check whether each apprentice has gained the knowledge and skills outlined in the standard, and then grade individual learners according to their performance.

How will the EPA work?

When an apprentice is ready to take the EPA, their employer will select them for the assessment.

The EPA is outlined in the assessment plan for each standard. The plan will explain what’s being assessed, how the apprentice will be assessed, and who will carry out the assessment.

EPA can take a range of forms:

  • Tests
  • Examinations
  • Professional discussions
  • Workplace observations
  • Portfolio of work
  • Assignments
  • Assessment of work output

What will the End Point Assessment Workshop Consist of?

The training day will cover all the aspects of End-Point Assessment that you would need to understand and be competent in as an Independent End-Point Assessor.

If you want to receive further details including workshop dates, availability, locations and costs please contact a course advisor at NVQ Jobs via email quoting EPA. email: info@nvqjobs.com
