The position of Apprentice Digital Engineer offers successful applicants the opportunity to combine a working towards an academic qualification, alongside working in a structured "on-the-job" training programme
At the end of 3 years our apprentices will be BTEC and NVQ level 3 qualified and be on their way to a career in Digital Engineering. This is an excellent opportunity to start your career in construction.

The Apprentice Digital Engineer will work under the guidance of experienced supervision in order to learn and develop the skills necessary to accurately manage and report construction costs whilst actively seeking to maximise return.
Accountabilities and Key Tasks:
-Support the BIM manager in all activities.
-Undertake the project BIM uses.
-Support implementation of project wide BIM modelling standards.
-Support BYUK project team on BIM tools and uses.
-Prepare statistics for including in project reports
-Undertake clash detection exercises as required.
-Report on the Builders work coordination process to ensure design team adherence to process
-Review and report on all BIM outputs from the project team
-Implement project wide BIM modelling standards.
-Identify / undertake training needs when require.
-Undertake modelling exercises in Revit to assist the site team
-Enthusiasm to learn about construction and digital technologies
-GCSEs in English, Maths and IT (4 or above)
-Excellent presentation skills
-Ability to self-learn and experiment
-Use of Microsoft Office Tools (Word / Excel / PowerPoint)
-Coding knowledge or experience
