What you'll be doing…

· Talking to and helping people from all walks of life who find themselves in financial difficulty

· By asking questions and listening you will work with a customers to understand their situation

· Make informed decisions collaboratively with customers to provide appropriate solutions

· Creating appropriate repayment plans that help customers towards financial recovery

· Providing support and clear guidance to customers on incoming and outgoing telephone calls

· Demonstrating a good understanding of the regulatory guidance

· Updating our systems with everything you've done to resolve the situation

What are the skills you need?

· The ability to listen and make good decisions from what you hear

· Comfortable speaking on the phone. That is what the job is, so that's important

· Be good at asking questions and patient enough to hear and act upon the answers

· Good numeracy and literacy skills to help explain the different options available to customers

· Culture is so important so being caring, honest, inclusive and wanting to work with others is key

· The desire to want to improve by listening to and providing feedback

· The ability to work independently (once trained) and make your contribution to your team. We will provide clear targets which help you understand how you are doing, and your manager will talk to you about your progress regularly, so we are all on the same page and you feel supported.

A competitive starting salary of up to £22,633 per year, plus a fantastic monthly bonus where you could earn up to an additional £2000 per year.

  • We are open 6 days a week. Monday to Friday 8am to 9pm and Saturdays 8am to 4pm. You have the option of three full time contracts; 35, 37.5 and 40 hours per week with shift patterns that can be completed over 5 days per week. This allows you the flexibility to choose from a range of shift patterns and pick the one that suits your own work / life balance the best; whilst maximising the income that you receive each month. You will work 1 in 3 Saturdays however will receive a lieu day during the week prior to your Saturday shift.
