Role: Employee Relations HR Business Partner
Contract Type: FTC for 6 months (temp to perm opportunity)
Hours: Monday to Friday 9am-6pm WFH/Office blend

Here at Chestertons our people are hugely important to us which is why this year the business has invested significantly in a new People & Culture team. With a Chief People Officer and three new Heads of Department across HR, Talent Acquisition and Learning and Development all in place and with our People & Culture strategy for the next 18 months now mapped out, we need to increase the size of our team to enable us to deliver on all we are planning.

One of the roles that we are currently looking to fill is for a new and experienced Employee Relations HR Business Partner to join us, initially on a six month contract, with a view to the role becoming permanent thereafter. Working alongside the rest of the HR and wider People and Culture team to deliver a high quality service to the business, You will be required to build trusted relationships with stakeholders and business leaders and provide expert input across a range of HR issues to design and deliver solutions that will meet the needs of the business.

Must Haves:

• Excellent ER case management in a pragmatic/operational industry
• Ability/confidence to lead and challenge ER process/decisions
• Capacity to work with ambiguity and build processes as opposed to following pre-set guidance (historical policies do not represent the processes we want to exercise just now)
• Stakeholder management and expectation setting
• Ability to work with less experienced members of the HR Team to develop their capabilities in regard to letter writing/admin
• Management in relation to ER Drive to change - both managerial attitudes/ways of working and business processes/policies
• Re-writing & re-launching of all policies a key project this person could influence and work on

The role is five days per week and we work 2/3 from home and the other days from either our South Kensington base office or another London based branch location
