My client a renowned membership organisation, with lovely offices based in the heart of London, seek an HR Officer to join a busy team and work closely with the HR Manager…

To provide comprehensive generalist HR administration support to the Head of HR, including coordinating recruitment campaigns, supporting with any employee relations cases and reviewing HR policies and procedures.

You will act as a key point of contact providing advice and guidance to staff and managers on HR policies and procedures.

Main duties will include;

HR Administration: To provide effective administrative and organisation support to the Head of HR as required;

Generating contracts of employment and other related HR correspondence

Supporting the logistics around recruitment processes, liaising with line managers, arranging interview dates

Working alongside the Head of HR, be a key contact for recruitment partners, including advertising and recruitment agencies, and negotiate where necessary all terms of business to ensure recruitment solutions are high quality and cost effective.

Update and maintain HR data and produce management reports and key performance indicators based on staff data

Monitoring sickness absence, flagging up any potential absence issues. Follow up with managers and individuals to ensure Self Certs and Fit notes are recorded as appropriate.

Process employee changes and provide accurate data reports monthly to the Payroll Manager

To administer leaver arrangements and conduct exit interviews, recording the results and prepare the 6 monthly exit interview analysis.

Support with processes such as DSE assessments, family leave, annual salary review and formal flexible working

Act as the first port of call for HR queries from internal staff members, answering routine queries and forwarding more complex cases

Support the Head of HR to update and develop policies and procedures in line with legislative changes and Best Practice.

Learning and Development:

Take a lead role within the HR team on learning and development logistics, including coordinating training bookings and analysis of learning requests and trends

Ensure all new employees are set up on the e-learning system and e-learning compliant

This role is employee facing and will involve liaison with employees at every level in the Company. The role holder needs to be pro-active, friendly and approachable with the ability to work on their own initiative.

You must be organised, a good communicator (written and verbal) and most importantly, have experience of working in an HR Officer / Administrator, (ideally with some recruitment / onboarding experience too)

The right candidate should be CIPD Level 3 or above, working towards or with equivalent professional experience.

Salary circa 32K plus bens
