Logistics Administrator

Bromley-By-Bow, London, E3

£17,000 - £19,000 Dependent on Experience

Full Time, 10 months contract

As Logistics Administrator, you will provide our client with a Logistics Service for UK and International Deliveries, including storing and recording specific contents and packing sheets, courier labels, tracking and POD information.

The logistics department works closely with couriers and other departments including - Production, Call Off Library, Digital Print, Despatch and Accounts, so it's important that candidates have good communication skills and work well within a supportive team.

About the Role - Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Producing Campaign picking / contents sheets, courier labels, over sheets for all clients.
  • Produce courier and content sheets.
  • Provide POD reports, activity reports to dispatch.
  • Produce international paperwork for exporting goods.
  • Resolve POD issues.
  • Check invoices courier invoices.
  • Raise POs for courier invoices.
  • Query late deliveries and undelivered goods.
  • Administer Courier address databases.
  • Produce over sheets and pre-advise warehouses of deliveries.
  • Produce delivery notes.
  • Organise courier vehicles and collection times.
  • Work from Onebrief matrix to compile all pack and collate information using excel to create master pack sheets.
  • Produce daily despatch lists for Production, Logistics and Despatch team.
  • Ensure that safe working practices are adopted within work area and during completion of work
  • Maintain a safe working environment for employees and service users

Please Note: you may also be required to undertake other duties within the remit of the role.

Required Skills, Experience and Qualifications:

  • Good Level of Education.
  • Advanced Knowledge of Microsoft Applications, including Word, Excel and Access.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a team and individually.
  • Knowledge of couriers and Import/Export Customs paperwork.
  • Excellent administrative skills.

It would also be beneficial if you have experience working in an administrative or clerical role previously.

Working Hours: 8:30am - 5pm, Monday to Friday.

Contract Duration: 10 months
