Excellent opportunity for progression in an expanding import company based in beautiful offices in Greater Manchester.

Our client has an exciting opportunity for a Sales & Import Administrator to join a friendly team. This is a diverse role that calls for an all-rounder who enjoys working with a variety of customers, colleagues and suppliers.

Responsibilities:

  • Assisting with the setup of new customer accounts and management of existing accounts, ensuring a good understanding of each customer's specific requirements.
  • Processing sales orders, monitoring orders to highlight any potential issues, arranging bookings and deliveries.
  • Arranging pro forma invoices and chasing payments to assist the accounts department.
  • Liaising with the warehouse to brief in order requirements and any additional reprocessing needed.
  • Completing new line forms, web and packaging forms for customers to assist the sales department.
  • Managing the showroom and company samples ensuring everything is kept up to date and organised along with monitoring the stock list and creating new items on the system.
  • Arranging transport for UK and Irish deliveries.
  • To greet and welcome guests when visiting the office and assisting with meeting preparation including arranging product samples, food and beverages.
  • Answering and forwarding incoming phone calls.
  • Arranging post and parcels to be sent out within the UK and internationally and collecting samples when required.
  • Managing office supplies including ordering stationery, office equipment and warehouse supplies.
  • Assisting with the organisation of trade shows and company events including pre-show organisation and on site set up.

The successful candidate will need to have previous experience working as a Sales and / or Imports Administrator - preferably within a similar import environment. You will have solid communication and articulation skills and a high level of competency in Word, Outlook and Excel.
