Job Description

Elevation Recruitment Group are currently looking to recruit a Technical Administrator to work for our engineering client based in Chesterfield.

Main Responsibilities will include:-

*Provide order processing support for systems and spares orders
*Have a disciplined and methodical approach to ensure accuracy and timely release of information to meet manufacturing start dates and customer delivery requirements
*Ensure all orders received by the company receive the appropriate review to ensure that the correct job cards, drawings, manuals and work instructions are issued to meet the customers requirements
*Ensure accuracy and adherence to engineering disciplines/standards - issuing work instructions, bill of materials and new part creation, drawing control for manuals
*Deal with class approval societies regarding approval of equipment
*Provide technical support to assist with specific warranty/service issues, technical advice (both internal and with customers/agents) and production queries

In order be considered for this role that you must have previous administrative experience or be familiar with administrative tasks with experience of using IT/Microsoft Office.
You will have excellent attention to detail with good communication skills. A full driving licence would also be preferred.
We are looking for someone who has a keen interest in engineering with some administrative experience that has the ability to work under supervision but also have the confidence to work individually. Full training will be given until you are comfortable and deemed able to work on your own initiative. For the right candidate this role has plenty of scope for progression with this long established company.
